This magnificent model tank is crafted by hand by a master modeler. The details on the tank models armor and body are painstakingly carved from solid mahogany. The intricate details of the features of the real aircraft are masterfully carved into this model aircraft. This is what puts our models above the competition.

The paint work is done by hand and the call signs, insignias and other artwork are matched to the original airplane. A clear coat is then applied to protect the model tank and it's intricate artwork for a lifetime of enjoyment.

Of the various M113 type personnel carriers developed, the M113A2 began production in June 1979. Based on combat experience in Vietnam, this version was made with improved transmission, operating equipment and cooling system as well as reinforced suspension.

History:

America's M113 Armored Personnel Carrier is still the world's best battlefield transport. First introduced during the Vietnam war, it is still in service today. The M113A2 and A3 have better armor protection and external fuel tanks, improving battlefield survivability for its crew and 11 infantrymen.

A huge number of M113 Armored Personnel Carrier variants have been created, ranging from infantry carriers to nuclear missile carriers. The M113 Armored Personnel Carrier has become one of the most prolific armored vehicles of the second half of the 20th century, and continues to serve with armies around the world into the 21st century. Not without its faults, the otherwise versatile chassis of the M113 has been used to create almost every type of vehicle imaginable. Few vehicles ever created can claim the application to such a wide range of roles.
