Starting on Thanksgiving day, 15 rarely flown vintage planes will take to the skies at Fantasy of Flight.
The 15-year anniversary celebration will last through Nov. 28. The 15 planes are part of the world's largest
private collection of vintage and restored airplanes, which belongs to Fantasy of Flight founder Kermit Weeks.
Weeks plans to fly each aircraft in the celebration in hopes to demonstrate that dreams are achieveable through
perserverance and hard work.
"For me, the sky was never the limit," Weeks said in a press statement. "I wanted to go beyond the ordinary and
explore the extraordinary."
The Ford Tri-Motor, Grumman Duck, AT-6, P-51C, P-51D and Piper L-4 are some of the planes that will be
Nov. 26 through Nov. 28
Beginning at 11 a.m, ending at 3 p.m.
